Generative AI has already entered the low-code canvas, converting Figma mocks into live components, suggesting data-validation rules, and generating test suites on demand. Component libraries themselves are becoming composable “application Legos” that share state through event streams and open APIs, allowing teams to orchestrate micro-front-ends from multiple vendors as though they were native widgets. McKinsey identifies this fusion of AI assistance, cloud-native runtimes, and low code as a driver of a broader “democratization of technology,” one that lowers the friction of experimentation to near zero.
