Diablo 4 Season 4 has been out for a while now, and the most common question we’ve been getting is, “what should I do in the endgame?” If you’re level 100 and unsure of your next steps, this guide will help you navigate Diablo 4’s endgame content and make the most of your character.
1. Farm Bosses for Uniques
First and foremost, focus on making your build as strong as possible. You can do this by targeting specific bosses for the unique items you need. Each boss has a loot table with items that can be crucial for your build. Use the Boss Cheat Sheet on Maxroll to find out which bosses drop the uniques you need. For example, if you’re a Sorcerer looking for the Fractured Winter Glass, you’ll need to farm Lord Zir.
2. Uber Bosses
There are two versions of every boss: the regular version and the Uber version. The Uber version is more expensive to summon but offers better rewards. These Uber bosses can drop super rare items called Uber Uniques, such as the Ring of the Starless Skies. You can also craft Uber Uniques using Resplendent Sparks, which you can get from various sources like Uber Lilith or the Iron Wolves rep.
3. Greater Affixes
Greater Affixes are essential for optimizing your gear. These are indicated by two small circles on the item and represent higher-than-normal stat rolls. To find these, you’ll need to farm high-level content like Hell Tides, Nightmare Dungeons, and The Pit. Remember, items with Greater Affixes are your endgame loot filter; focus only on these.
4. Spend Your Obols
Obols are a valuable resource in Diablo 4. You can use them to craft powerful elixirs or buy specific gear pieces from vendors. This is particularly useful for targeting gear slots where you need better Greater Affixes. Run The Pit to farm Obols efficiently.
5. Paragon Glyphs
Paragon Glyphs are crucial for maximizing your build’s power. These glyphs can be leveled from 1 to 21, with significant power increases at levels 15 and 21. Focus on running Nightmare Dungeons to level up your glyphs quickly, and aim to get all your glyphs to at least level 15.
6. Legendary Aspects
Keep an eye out for gear with a snowflake icon in the top right corner, indicating it will upgrade your Codex of Power. Salvage these items to permanently enhance your Codex, allowing you to imprint these aspects on your gear indefinitely.
7. Endgame Tempering
Tempering your gear at the Blacksmith can significantly boost your character’s power. Each piece of gear can be tempered twice in World Tier 4, adding additional stats. Make sure to temper all your gear regularly to keep up with the game’s increasing difficulty. What’s more, if you want to get some specific items for your endgame, you can buy Diablo 4 mats and boss summon items from AOEAH.COM, that will help you gear up your build faster!
8. Masterworking
Masterworking is a high-cost but high-reward system that involves upgrading your gear 12 times. Each upgrade improves all stats on the item, with crits happening at levels 4, 8, and 12. Farm The Pit to get the materials needed for Masterworking and aim to masterwork all your crucial gear pieces.
9. More Gearing Tips
- Farm The Pit: This location is vital for getting masterworking materials and high-tier gear. It has 200 levels, and the difficulty ramps up significantly as you progress.
- Make Alts: Creating alternate characters can be a fun way to experience different playstyles and builds. Each class feels unique, and experimenting with various builds can keep the game fresh.
- Season Journey & Iron Wolves: Complete the Season Journey and Iron Wolves rep quests for additional rewards. These tasks can offer valuable items and resources, including Resplendent Sparks for crafting Uber Uniques.
10. Farm Uber Uniques
Hunt for Uber Uniques by farming bosses like Duriel and Andariel. These items can also drop from other high-level content and regular gameplay, though their drop rates are low. Crafting them with Resplendent Sparks is a more targeted approach.
Diablo 4’s endgame offers various activities to keep you engaged and continually improve your character. Whether you’re farming bosses for uniques, optimizing your gear with Greater Affixes, or pushing the highest levels of The Pit, there’s plenty to do. Keep experimenting with different builds, complete the Season Journey, and hunt for those elusive Uber Uniques.
