In recognition of his exceptional contributions to the UAE’s hospitality industry, Chef Sperxos was recently awarded the prestigious 10-year Golden Visa by the UAE government. This honour was granted not only for his work in reshaping the culinary landscape but also for his media influence and impactful investments in the region.

Chef Sperxos’ career took flight with the renowned One and Only Royal Mirage, where he oversaw three of the resort’s celebrated dining venues. His passion for Greek cuisine led to the founding of Ena in 2016, a groundbreaking restaurant in Dubai that brought over 200 authentic Greek ingredients from small villages across Greece to the city’s food scene. His ability to weave culture, tradition, and innovation into his creations has made him a sought-after culinary leader.
His influence extends far beyond the UAE. Chef Sperxos has brought the essence of Greek gastronomy to global platforms, including Singapore, Italy, Papua New Guinea, Sri Lanka, and most notably, Expo 2020 Dubai. His contributions have earned him the title of Ambassador of Greek Gastronomy in the UAE, where he regularly consults for high-profile events, including the Abu Dhabi Formula 1, Taste of the World at Gulfood, and luxury VIP gatherings.
In 2022, the award-winning chef made history as the world’s first NFT chef, blending the worlds of food and digital art in a groundbreaking fusion that captivated both the culinary and tech industries. Most recently, he has expanded his culinary empire with the upcoming launch of Efzin Fresh and the opening of 10 health-focused coffee stores and restaurants across the UAE. Beyond his restaurant empire, Chef Sperxos has expanded his entrepreneurial reach by founding his own PR and marketing company (Chef Sperxos PR and Marketing). Established just two years ago, the agency has quickly built a reputation for excellence through Chef Sperxos’ strong social connections and media presence. The agency has worked with high-profile clients such as FoodEX Japan, The NGA Show in Las Vegas, and Food & Drinks Malaysia. Additionally, Chef Sperxos is running several campaigns for the European Union across countries including the UK, Norway, Switzerland, Canada, the Netherlands, China, Angola, Uganda, and many more.
Chef Sperxos is also the founder of an export company that imports traditional products from every corner of Greece to the UAE and the wider Middle East. This business further strengthens his role as a cultural ambassador for Greek cuisine and products.
