At Trent Lock Golf & Country Club, the game is about to change — quite literally — with the introduction of Padel courts in partnership with Love Padel Clubs and brainchild of new MD, CEO and shareholders.
Recognising the immense popularity of Padel worldwide, Trent Lock is stepping up to deliver a state-of-the-art facility that will provide members and visitors with year-round access to the sport. The plans include four new open-air courts which will be partially enclosed under a custom designed retractable canopy, protecting players from the unpredictable British weather and maintaining the vista they sit within.
Behind the scenes, Construction Supply Club, suppliers of Building Supplies, one of the Clubs sponsors have been instrumental in supporting this exciting development. Their supply of high quality, cost-effective building materials is helping turn vision into reality.
Beyond just playing, Trent Lock plans to integrate Padel into its club culture. Members can look forward to open days, tournaments, beginner clinics, and inter-club matches. With its low learning curve and emphasis on social play, Padel is set to inject fresh energy into the club, attracting new faces and strengthening community ties.
The addition of Padel is part of a broader vision of the CEO, shareholder and Managing Director Otis Dyke: creating a modern, inclusive environment where all kinds of people can thrive.
