Punkvism announced on the 17th that it has partnered with MixMarvel, a global blockchain content incubation platform and creator community company, to launch a consortium aimed at accelerating the growth of the Korean blockchain gaming industry.
The consortium also includes the Korea Mobile Game Association, aiming to maximize synergy through strategic collaboration.

Punkvism, which has been carrying out global NFT projects such as Punky Kongz, will take charge of the core management and operation of the consortium. It plans to lead the strategic direction and execution of various blockchain gaming projects. Most importantly, leveraging its experience in building innovative ecosystems through NFT and Real-World Asset (RWA) tokenization, Punkvism aims to establish new standards in the blockchain gaming sector.
With MixMarvel joining the initiative, Punkvism expects the consortium to become a key driver of growth of the Asian blockchain gaming industry. Founded in 2017, MixMarvel is a blockchain game publishing and content community platform that provides essential services such as content incubation, investment, and publishing while connecting creators and users.
MixMarvel specializes in Web3 gaming and digital assets sectors, having successfully incubated numerous high-quality game titles and supported their launch in major blockchain ecosystems. Leveraging its network with major Asian game studios, content providers, and IP holders, MixMarvel is currently pushing forward a strong publishing plan that includes seven mini-games and five large-scale game projects.

Additionally, in 2024, MixMarvel co-founded the Web3 gaming group Galaxy Girl Interactive (GGI) in partnership with Yeeha! Games to build a blockchain gaming ecosystem supporting game developers, creators, and general players. This initiative has been recognized for enabling sustainable value creation through infrastructure solutions, fostering the creator economy, and utilizing on-chain assets ($MIX).
According to Punkvism, the three parties—MixMarvel, Punkvism, and the Korea Mobile Game Association—will use the Web3.0 Game Acceleration Consortium to provide gaming and IP content aligned with the vision of the entertainment metaverse. They also plan to introduce creative NFT projects that attract traditional gamers and mainstream consumers into the Web3 ecosystem.
This collaboration is expected to link two major on-chain gaming communities, expand the usability of key ecosystem assets, and bring new innovations to the Korean blockchain gaming market through premium content, tangible community rewards, and exclusive campaigns for Korean gamers.

Meanwhile, GGI, the gaming platform operated by MixMarvel and acquired by the cryptocurrency exchange Bybit, serves as a Web3 gaming gateway, providing cutting-edge infrastructure, platform services, investment, incubation, and publishing for developers and general players. Therefore, this consortium collaboration is expected to leverage MixMarvel and GGI’s extensive global network and advanced infrastructure, playing a crucial role in expanding Korean blockchain gaming projects globally and fostering ecosystem growth.
